Are the prices given above the same as the prices the gold shops use in selling gold?
I bought 2.6grams of 22 carats gold for 450qatari riyals in one of the gold shop in qatar last week. When I told them the price per unit of gold wasnt that high. They told me that they have added service charge.
Even with the service charge, should the price be that high? can you give us an estimate cost of gold per gram plus the service charge?

Al Fardan and Gulf Exchange. They both run 4 – 6 % over spot on any given day, depending on the amount you buy. You can also buy Gold Coins in many of the gold shops in the old Gold Souk area, with a fairly high mark up with a few exceptions if you bargain. Good luck.

why papular bank are selling 1750 QR per tola for 24 karat gold.The rate shown above are totally differ from the market.why it happens?
Doha bank charges about a 5 percent premium over spot for 2 tola and 3 tola. They charge about 3% over spot for 5 tola and higher. They are less expensive than Gulf Exchange and Al Fardan Krishna. If you find a better place to buy please tell me!
