The price of the gold is usually published as the price of an ounce of gold in USD. For example, the current gold price is 3,434.03 USD, updated at Saturday 14 June 2025, 03:00 pm. Each ounce of gold equals about 31.1 grams, so to calculate the gram price in USD, divide the ounce price by 31.1 to get the gram price. For exapmle, the current gold gram price = 3,434.03/31.1= 110.42 USD.
